Stop Motion Final: Featuring Ashley Helling

Posted on: March 20, 2010

I completed the beanie that would offically be used for Ashley’s stop motion film. The gauge came out perfectly and the fit was great. I used US #000 needles and the thinnest lace weight alpaca I could find. My gauge was 12 stitches and 15 rows to the inch. Needless to say, it was a teeny tiny tedious project, but completely worth it. Ashley was pleased and sent me a few sample film photos while she was experimenting with the filming.

You can see and use Ashley’s hand as a size reference
