The Life & Whimsies of Knitty Lou

First Amigurumi

Posted on: May 30, 2009

I decided I wanted to try my hand (or needles should I say) at Amigurumi – the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed animals. I didn’t think it would be to difficult. Boy was I dumb! The entire project used double pointed needles, which I’m already not particularly fond of, and it just about drove me to the loony bin! But… I did end up with a mouse that at least slightly resembled the pattern I was using.
